DMD Pharmaceuticals Enters Nighttime Sleep Aid Category With New Sedadrine™ OTC Product

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Leading over-the-counter (OTC) dietary supplement and energy shot manufacturer DMD Pharmaceuticals is taking its first step into a new category—nighttime sleep aids—with the new maximum strength Sedadrine™ Night Time Sleep Aid product.
"Studies show that over thirty percent of Americans suffer from occasional insomnia—evidenced by trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, or waking up too early," said Dave Riddle, compliance officer for DMD Pharmaceuticals. Sedadrine's active ingredient is diphenhydramine, a form of antihistamine used in other nationally-branded popular OTC sleep aids designed to counteract naturally occurring histamines in the brain—the substance that promotes wakefulness. When used as directed, an antihistamine-based nighttime sleep aid can help to interrupt the cycle of occasional insomnia by promoting sleep.
